As an Intel futurist, Steve is responsible for building and articulating a clear vision for the future of computing and the exciting experiences that it will enable in the next decade and beyond. He consults industry experts and synthesizes social, technological, demographic, market, economic and business trends to understand how technology will shape the future of major vertical industries. These include retail, healthcare, manufacturing, entertainment, and transportation. Steve then engages people in a positive, actionable conversation about the future we want to build. He brings Intel’s vision to life by talking at public events and consulting for clients on the profound impact computing will have on our lives in 2020 and beyond.

Steve joined Intel in 1989 and holds bachelors and masters degrees in Microelectronic Systems Engineering from Manchester University. He has broad experience spanning engineering, business, sales, marketing, manufacturing, and communications. Steve was born in Britain, became a US citizen in 2008, and lives in downtown Portland, Oregon.
