As Head of the Marketing Developer Program at Pinterest, Michael is responsible for growing and managing the program of partners using the Ads API to run scalable promoted programs on Pinterest for some of the largest advertisers in the world.
Before joining Pinterest, Michael was a Global Vice President at Kenshoo, an enterprise digital marketing software company. He joined the company in 2009 as one of the founding member of the New York team where he led the global presales organization, managing teams across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
Previously he led Client Services at Mumba Cloud, an integrated social networking platform for employee collaboration. Originally from Sydney, Australia, Michael is always up for a laugh and is constantly exploring new insights in the intersection of advertising and technology. When he’s not traveling, he spends time with his family dreaming of the beach.
Barbie Graver began her career in 1996 with a successful Bay Area start-up, building the HR function as the company grew from 20 to more than 500 employees. Following that adventure, she was exposed to more traditional HR while working for IBM and Cisco, both here in the U.S. and based in Europe. While working at Cisco and living in Germany, she managed employee relations for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Through her career, Graver has worked in or managed most HR functions including recruitment, legal, employee relations and business partnership. More recently, she served as the head of HR for Sportvision and Tiburon before joining Netflix in 2011. Her passion for work comes from the ability to team with leadership to drive the company’s success forward.
Graver holds a B.A. from Santa Clara University and a master’s in human resources management.
Originally from Australia, Stephen Hunt established the first Australian video ad network in 2009 with Adconion before launching the first video DSP with TubeMogul in 2011. He built TubeMogul to become the dominant market leader and spread its operations across New Zealand and Asia-Pacific with the region becoming a hot-bed for innovation in the programmatic branding space. Last year Stephen made the move to New York where he was tasked with driving strategic innovation through TubeMogul’s existing clients while supporting efforts to convert new business. Success in New York led to a recent promotion to take the reigns of the West Coast in 2015. Stephen now leads the West Coast sales and operations teams as they strive to spread accountability and control to clients throughout the region.
Aric Lapera is BuzzFeed’s Vice President of Brand Strategy for the West Coast. He opened up the San Francisco office building a sales team in the Pacific Northwest focusing on fortune 200 companies. Top accounts include Microsoft, Google, Visa, Starbucks, and Amazon. Aric has been in Digital for 18 years with over 10 years in educating brands on social content.
Prior to joining BuzzFeed 4 years ago, Aric was a Sales Director for MySpace and CBS Interactive overseeing the Pacific Northwest. He also was a Regional Manager at weather.com and Ziff Davis and has a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from San Diego State University.
A brand-builder at heart, Kim has 20 years professional experience in brand and marketing strategy for companies like Nike and Jamba Juice. She loves the intersection of technology and brand and has been on the forefront of digital in the US. As a New Concept Director on Nike’s Global Brand Management team, she was an integral part of the original Nike+ launch team.
Beyond Nike, she’s had experience on both the agency side and client side at Prophet Brand Strategy, as the VP Brand Strategy and Marketing at Jamba Juice, and most recently as VP Marketing at a local San Francisco start-up.
During the last 3.5 years at Google, she’s been a pioneer launching the Google BrandLab, an immersive brand strategy workshop designed to help brands this digital first.
Dan Siroker is the Co-Founder & CEO of Optimizely, a company that empowers businesses and organizations, through its A/B Testing and Personalization products, to optimize their websites and mobile apps and turn data into action. Optimizely has quickly become the most adopted website optimization platform in the world.
The inspiration for Optimizely came from Dan’s experience as the Director of Analytics for the 2008 Obama Presidential Campaign. Prior to joining the campaign, Dan was a product manager for Google Chrome and AdWords. He graduated with honors from Stanford University with a B.S. in Computer Science, and was named to Forbes’ 30 under 30 in 2012.
Mike Zeman is the Director of Global Programmatic Marketing for Netflix. In this role, he leads an in-house team focused on the marketing of Netflix content across data-driven advertising channels (social, programmatic, search, YouTube). The team is currently supporting Netflix efforts in over 50 markets and will play a major role in Netflix’ expansion to be nearly entirely global by the end of 2016.
