Jason Spero is Vice President of Performance Solutions at Google. He is the Global Business Lead for Search, Display, Shopping/PLA, and Analytics offerings. Prior to this, Jason was Global Head of Mobile where he drove strategy and operations for Google’s Mobile offerings on Search, Display, and YouTube. Jason is passionate about the transformative influence of mobility and connectivity.
Jason joined Google in May 2010 as part of the company’s acquisition of AdMob where he was Vice President and General Manager of North America responsible for strategy and operations. In this role, he also led the company’s sales, business development and marketing teams.
Jason has more than 15 years of experience in product, marketing and general management functions in mobile at Digital Chocolate and Openwave. He was also an Entrepreneur in Resident at Redpoint Ventures. Jason holds a bachelor’s degree from Amherst College and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He lives in San Francisco with his wife and two daughters.
Simon Sproule has been Tesla’s Vice President for Global Communications since March 2014. Prior to joining Tesla, he served in a variety of leadership positions in the US, Japan and France with both Nissan and the Renault-Nissan Alliance, most recently as the Corporate Vice President of Global Communications. Sproule is a 22 year veteran of the global auto industry. He started his career with Ford Motor Company and worked in the UK and US, notably as the head of North American communications for Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover. In 2004, he was recognized by the Automotive Hall of Fame in Detroit as one of their four Young Leaders of the Year. Sproule holds a bachelor’s degree in geography from the University of London’s King’s College.
Allen Blue is the Vice President of Product Management & Co-Founder of LinkedIn
Allen was formerly Director of Product Design at SocialNet.com, a social networking service covering dating, recreational and professional activities, where he was responsible for product design and implementation of SocialNet’s member-data focused business model. Previously, Allen has worked as a contract web designer and developer for a variety of clients including PayPal, Stanford University, and Microsoft’s Virtual Worlds project. Allen also lectured in Drama for three years at Stanford, where he graduated with honors with a B.A. in Drama and a B.A. in English, and was winner of the Golden Medal for creative excellence.
Joel Lunenfeld is the Vice President of Global Brand Strategy at Twitter. Joel has been one of the top influencers in the digital space for over a decade. He is known for encouraging his clients and teams to venture down unchartered paths to discover new ways of igniting conversations between brands and people.
Prior to joining Twitter, Joel was a founding member and CEO of Moxie Interactive, a top digital agency, leading engagement with world-class brands such as Verizon Wireless, L’Oreal, Twentieth Century Fox and Coca-Cola. Joel is an entrepreneur and change agent that believes in the power of participation and the new role technology plays connecting brands and their customers.
Josh is a partner at Greylock. He joined the team in 2011 and invests in entrepreneurs building new consumer products and services. His areas of focus include social networks and platforms, mobile apps, new media, and marketplaces. Josh specializes in designing, building, and scaling consumer products, having been part of multiple companies that have grown to over 100 million users.
Before joining Greylock, Josh spent 15 years in product and engineering roles at leading companies in social, commerce, and media. Josh was the product lead for growth and relevance at Twitter, growing Twitter’s active user base by nearly 10x. Prior to Twitter, Josh worked on the platform at Facebook and led the launch of Facebook Connect. Earlier in his career, Josh was an early employee at LinkedIn and helped establish early models for user growth and launched the first version of LinkedIn Jobs. Josh also held roles leading product management for Zazzle, and leading product and engineering for RealJukebox and RealPlayer at RealNetworks.
Josh currently serves on the boards of Medium, Jelly, and SmartThings. Josh also works closely with our investments in Nextdoor, Whosay, and Path.
Josh holds a BS in Symbolic Systems with a focus on Human Computer Interaction from Stanford University.
