Roger Dickey, Founder & CEO, Gigster
Roger Dickey, CEO of Gigster, is a serial entrepreneur and active angel investor based in San Francisco. Roger’s first company was an AirBnB for tutoring, started in Austin in 2006. He entered the games industry in 2007 with a Facebook app startup, launching 19 apps with the largest generating 300M+ page views per month. After an acquisition by Zynga, Roger went on to found Mafia Wars (100M users), FishVille (35M users), and five other titles in his three years there. Roger served as an international product team advisor for Zynga, helping the company grow their games in India, Japan, and China. Since leaving Zynga, Roger has launched Gigster, a marketplace for software development services.
Alongside his work at Zynga, Roger began advising and investing in Bay Area startups since 2010. His investments include Docker, Addepar, iCracked, OpenGov, ClassDojo, and Wanelo. Advisory roles include Formation 8, Nest, OpenDoor, and The Thiel Fellowship.
Effi Fuks-Leichtag, Product Manager, Yelp
Effi joined Yelp in August 2015 and currently leads the company’s Growth and Messaging groups. Effi joined Yelp to bootstrap the messaging / Home services vertical after years managing product development in several startups. Before transitioning to tech, Effi was working as a lawyer and previously served as a military officer in Israel for 6 years.

Deep Katyal, Founder & CEO, Advangelists, LLC
With an extensive background in software engineering and product development, Deepankar (Deep) Katyal is well-versed in both the technical and business sides of the industry’s infrastructure. As Advangelists’ head of business, Deep has experience working with cross-functional teams, managing a product line from start to finish. This includes architecting product solutions for both business and technical sides, justifying new product development investments, determining and documenting new product requirements, developing sales forecasts and product pricing, and launching new products to the marketplace. Before joining Advangelists, Deep headed up product innovation global teams at Opera mediaworks(Adcolony). Prior to that he worked in product development at Nuance Communications where he was responsible for the launch, market adaptation and business development for Nuance Voice Ads. He also designed ad creation tools to help ad agencies and networks create voice ads. Prior to that, he worked as a software engineer at Nuance, where he designed and developed a number of programs including a Swype-based input method for MeeGo/Android OS and a Kinect Input for the same method on Windows tablet. Deep holds a degree in Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University in India and is certified by Nuance University in Product / Project Development and management. He currently resides in Seattle.
Komal Kirtikar, Sr. Director of Product Marketing, Lyft
Komal Kirtikar is the head of Product Marketing at Lyft. She’s been with the company for the last 4.5 years (and an avid Lyft passenger for the last 5 years). She’s fulfilled multiple roles for the company all focused on improving the experience for Lyft users: starting as the first GM of San Francisco, then heading up the Customer Service and Trust & Safety teams, and most currently leading up Product Marketing. Before landing at Lyft, Komal worked at Bain & Co. in strategy consulting and at GE Aviation in their Operations Management Leadership program.
She’s always loved the outdoors since her childhood in Florida when she would swim at any opportunity she had, to now where you’ll often find her adventuring out on the Bay Area hiking trails.
Mark Levy, Global Head of Employee Experience, Airbnb
Mark is a seasoned globally minded HR Leader who has chosen to work for big hearted companies and focus on how he and his team can unleash the talents and interests of a company’s employees. He has worked with the likes of Levi Strauss & Company and Gap Inc. partnering with business leaders to support their HR needs including innovative ways to create a learning organization and ensure integration between work and life. Mark also spent two years living and working in Paris France for Thomson/Technicolor.
Mark’s first job was as a travel agent in college and graduate school. His first HR position was with a small boutique hotel company in San Francisco. He has come full circle and is back in the travel business disrupting at Airbnb.
Mark was the pioneer of creating the Employee Experience team at Airbnb, which has created significant changes in the way organizations globally are looking at broadening the HR function. This group includes traditional HR functions in addition to broader areas focused on culture and workplace. Mark’s current areas of responsibility are Recruiting, Diversity & Belonging, Workplace (Food, Facilities, Safety & Security, and Environments), Learning and Development, as well as Ground Control, a team which is responsible for curating the culture. Mark has his JD/MBA from the University of Colorado after four formative years at Colorado College. Mark chose to leave the practice of law after one year to focus his career on helping organizations do the right thing and to attract, develop, engage and retain creative and diverse talent to drive business results, curate the culture and create community connections.
In addition, Mark has been actively involved in helping organizations enable their employees to help those less fortunate through volunteering programs and community involvement, and is currently on the Board of First Graduate, a non profit which helps those who are first in their family to attend college.
James Sherrett, Senior Technology Strategist, Slack
James Sherrett is the Senior Technology Strategist at Slack. He is primarily responsible for working closely with Slack’s largest customers like Sky, Spotify, Airbnb, Ogilvy and Schibsted, to help them get the most from Slack and transform the way they work. Prior to Slack, James led growth, marketing and e-commerce teams in software, consumer products and travel, as well as founding his own marketplace for creative work called AdHack. Hailing from Canada, James is a fluent French speaker and he lives by his current motto – “Learn to do by doing”.
Roy Skillicorn, Sr Dir, HR, L&D, Workforce Transformation – Services Academy, Cisco
Roy Skillicorn currently serves as Senior Director of H.R. leading Cisco’s Services Academy. In this role, Mr. Skillicorn is responsible for ensuring Cisco’s Services professionals have the skills and context needed to deliver extraordinary outcomes for their customers.
Roy also studies great teams. Roy believes that culture resides in teams and that company performance is an extrapolation of the effectiveness of the teams and team leaders that comprise a company.
A 20-year veteran of Cisco, Roy previously spent over 15 years as a Services General Manager where he built, launched, and led global services businesses for Cisco. Prior to joining the Human Resources organization, he created and ran Cisco’s global video and collaboration services business. Roy is an active speaker and has presented on the future of work, human performance, digital disruption, and team performance and development.
Sheela Subramanian, Director of Global Product Marketing, Slack
Sheela Subramanian leads Global Product Marketing at Slack. In this role, she leads go-to-market strategy for product and new market launches, customer programs, and analyst relations.
Before Slack, Sheela was the Vice President of Operations at Jana Mobile, where she led marketing, business development, and international growth for the company. As a member of the founding team, Sheela helped achieve company profitability, grow the company to 100 employees, and raise $96MM in funding. Prior to that, she worked at Google, where she led marketing for the company’s Global Development organization, as well as a number of consumer- and advertising-facing products.
Sheela has an MBA from Harvard Business School and BA from Stanford University.
Dylan Swift, Director of National Marketing, Yelp
Dylan joined Yelp in December 2009 and currently leads the company’s national marketing team. He began his marketing career in 1999 at eBay, where he spent 6 years growing the community via online marketing and business development. Dylan has also led online marketing at Prosper and Lending Club. He has an MBA from Wharton and a BA in art history from Bowdoin College.
Kelly Watkins, Head of Global Marketing, Slack
Kelly Watkins is the Head of Global Marketing at Slack where she oversees brand, product, platform, and growth marketing, as well as events and editorial. Previously, Kelly led marketing at GitHub and Bugsnag, has consulted on brand and marketing strategy for Intel and the Department of Defense, and ran communications at various nonprofit organizations. She’s a big fan of spicy food, sunny weather, and the Oxford comma.
